"Where tradition becomes emotion — and heritage lives through design.y."
This project explores how traditional Ukrainian motifs can be reinterpreted in elite commercial interior design, creating a dialogue between heritage and modernity. The research analyzes cultural codes such as embroidery, pysanka, folk architecture, and symbolic patterns — and demonstrates their potential to enhance identity, authenticity, and emotional engagement in high-end spaces
The practical outcome is the Living Heritage Concept Store in Kyiv: – Combines retail with immersive cultural experience; – Uses eco-materials, local crafts, and VR storytelling to connect past and present; – Zones include showroom, fitting areas, espresso bar, and a VR theater.
Design Values: – Cultural minimalism and authenticity; – Sustainability and local craftsmanship; – Emotional storytelling through space. This work aims to show that Ukrainian cultural codes are not only heritage but also a global design language with strong branding potential.
